Okay, so I dared them, but they don’t really have to make the Smurfs Movie

So I said when I heard that the Transformers movie was coming out that I wish someone had the balls to make The Smurfs into a film. Damn it now they are.

So here are my suggestions for casting:

Papa smurf: Sean Connery, try the phrase “not much further my little smurfs” in your head and you will see…
Gargamel: John Lithgow, he not only has the voice but the look too
Handy: Tim Allen, in fact I think Tim the Tool Man was actually based on Handy
Cook: Gordon Ramsay, just cause I would like to hear a Smurf use the “F” word
Lazy: Kevin Smith, stoned… you know…
All the others, just kinda look the same…

Taking the piss out of oneself

It is always healthy to take the piss out of oneself. I recently cut all my hair off and there has been the snide remark or two. Here are a couple of role models I am basing my new look on.
